Job Summary:

This position is responsible for the marketing and leasing of the Assisted Living apartments. Work closely with the Manager as a strong team player to make sure the Community is operating at 100% occupancy. This position requires being on call weekends and/or evenings to accommodate prospects and family visits, internal and external marketing events as requested.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Achieve and maintain 100% occupancy, with a waiting list by marketing and showing units, and following up with prospects.
  • Develop a weekly marketing plan and achieve goals and objectives stated in the plan.
  • Manage inquiry data base documenting weekly activity.
  • Manage community website with monthly changes, move-in promotions and event photos.
  • Complete weekly marketing report and submit to supervisors every Thursday by noon.
  • Prepare marketing materials for community tours and marketing events
  • Prepare tour gifts to be available 24/7.
  • Conduct a minimum of 15-20 marketing contacts weekly.
  • Assist in developing a budget and follow it.
  • Coordinate with Manager and Health Care Coordinator a schedule for move-ins and move-outs.
  • Meet evenings and weekends to accommodate prospects and family schedules.
  • Provide education and presentations to the public both internally and externally.
  • Coordinate and develop approved advertising.
  • Must obtain and maintain a chauffeur’s license within 30 days of hire.
  • Comply with all regulations as they apply to assisted living certification.
  • Prompt and courteous response in answering incoming telephone calls.
  • Other duties assigned by the Manager.
  • Uphold confidentiality and Health Insurance and Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).
  • Participate in the bi-weekly in-services, mandatory meetings, and coordinator meetings.
  • Be a part of the safety team and other committees, as requested.
  • Assist in orientation of new residents.
  • Write a monthly article for the newsletter, as requested.
  • Comply with all the Community policies.

Job Summary:

The Resident Care Partner is a non-professional employee trained to provide personal care and related services to residents in the community according to documented, individualized service and care plans. He/she functions under the Healthcare Coordinator. May be a Certified Nurse’s Aide but this is not required.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Obtains vital signs, records and notifies the supervising nurse of deviations per Individual Service Plan (ISP) as per resident’s
    tasks on POC or EMAR orders.
  • May provide assistance with the following:
    • Personal hygiene (bathing, grooming, hair care, shaving, skin care)
    • Change bed linens and make bed
    • Toileting and Incontinent Care
    • Nutritional and fluid intake
    • Dressing
    • Ambulation and transfers
    • Positioning
    • Medication reminders
    • Visual checks on residents as assigned
    • Laundry and housekeeping tasks
    • Other duties as assigned within scope of practice
  • Follows the resident’s ISP as directed. Documents tasks in POC and timely medication administration in EMAR.
  • Communicates with the appropriate supervisor about changes in the resident’s status and/or the home situation
  • Utilizes standard precautions and infection control procedures
  • Follows written instructions and requests assistance and further instructions with new or unfamiliar situations.
  • Assists the resident in maintaining a safe and clean environment

Job Summary:

The Culinary Service Aide will assist in the operation of the kitchen, dining room, dish room, and related storage spaces. Hours may vary from 7:30 AM –2:00 PM and/or 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM and every other weekend as scheduled by the Culinary Service Coordinator.

Essential Functions:

  • Serve residents in the dining room.
  • Take food to other dining rooms.
  • Set and clear tables.
  • Wash dishes.
  • Clean kitchen and dining room.
  • Follow cleaning schedule.
  • Report unsafe conditions to the Culinary Service Coordinator.
  • Maintain sanitation in all areas.
  • Comply with regulations regarding hair covering and hand protection during food preparation.
  • Use personal protective equipment, as required.
  • Fill in, as needed or requested.
  • Use proper body mechanics when lifting or pushing carts.
  • Respond to smoke and fire alarm systems.
  • Answer telephone promptly and courteously.
  • Attend all bi-weekly staff in-services or mandatory meetings.
  • Attend food service meetings
  • Be a part of the safety team and committees as assigned.
  • Read the Communication Log, daily.
  • Share ideas and comments you feel would benefit the Community.
